A Tale of Giving Thanks in Tulum

Last month, my husband & I took our two oldest kids on a trip to Tulum, Mexico. Our older kids have been so great in adjusting to having twin little sisters that we thought they needed some alone time with mom & dad. Tulum is a great place for older kids because of the easy access to the Mayan Riuns & Cenotes.
There are over 700 cenotes in the YucatanPeninsula. We decided on Cenotes Labnaha because they are a certified National Geographic partner and have a high regard for protecting the environment. Theyonly allow 10-20 visitors a day, whereas some of the other cenote tours willhave up to 200-300.

We are so THANKFUL for being able to share this special time together. We learned a lot about the environment and the Mayan Culture... and all they contributed to the modern world. Enjoy my photo tour on Flickr...
